Why are we talking about sustainability in the English classroom?

Sustainability is at the heart of the United Nations call to action to collaborate to end poverty, improve general health and education, reduce inequality and developing economic growth–and working on all this while also dealing with climate change and doing our best to keep our planet alive and get in better shape so that it can survive. And more and more we see how sustainability comes to our classrooms and impacts on teaching and learning approaches. Let’s talk about how sustainability can find a natural ecosystem in the English classroom. After all, we’ve only got one world.
